I love Stassi, but this was a DNF for me。 The writing is so lackluster。 I tried the audiobook as well, which is read by her。 That was a bit more digestible, but the context is so juvenile。 Overall, I’m disappointed。 This lacked depth and actual awareness of her mistakes and missteps。

I was torn between a 2 and a 3 star rating。 I felt the beginning was well written and very mature of Stassi。 Her perspective on her very public blunder was amazing。 The further I went on, however, the totes, af, hashtags, RIP, supes, etc。 verbiage was too much。 I totally get that her thing is being a “basic b*tch”, but it made for a tough read。 In the end, I went with a 3 because I love Stassi from her reality star days and she was rather honest in her book… which made it relatable and more tole I was torn between a 2 and a 3 star rating。 I felt the beginning was well written and very mature of Stassi。 Her perspective on her very public blunder was amazing。 The further I went on, however, the totes, af, hashtags, RIP, supes, etc。 verbiage was too much。 I totally get that her thing is being a “basic b*tch”, but it made for a tough read。 In the end, I went with a 3 because I love Stassi from her reality star days and she was rather honest in her book… which made it relatable and more tolerable。 。。。more

Better than the first one

Oof。 I liked hearing from her about the learning she has done since the Canceling, but this book is so ridiculously self-indulgent。 And I’m saying that after having decent feedback for her first self-indulgent book。 It’s a huge miss for me and I skimmed the last 5 chapters because I couldn’t do it anymore。

I gave up。 And I loved Stassi。 But the 1 hour and 24 minutes I did listen to was just her trying to cover up some of the stuff she said years ago that I didn’t even remember anyways。 Maybe I’ll try her earlier one instead

This was good。 Not great but good。Again you have to take this for who the author is and this is 100% her。 I loved reading this right after Scandavol! Really reignited my love for the show。 Overall though I did like getting more details into her situation。 I didn't know too much about what happened, when it happened so I liked getting a deeper insight into all of that。Overall, I liked it but wouldn't recommend unless you know who Stassi is! I honestly liked this book more than her first one。 She’s my favorite on VPR。 Hearing her story about being cancelled was interesting。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 We get it- Stassi was fired。 Cancelled。 She proceeds to mention it on every single page。 I feel sorry for the people around her who have to live with this diva。 She must be a nightmare。 It makes me sad to see this- she seemed so confident and together on VR。 。 。 Not sure where that went but too bad for those left to pick up the pieces。 This could have been a great book had Stassi told the story, apologized and moved on。 Instead she dwells and dwells and discusses it over and over relentlessly。 I We get it- Stassi was fired。 Cancelled。 She proceeds to mention it on every single page。 I feel sorry for the people around her who have to live with this diva。 She must be a nightmare。 It makes me sad to see this- she seemed so confident and together on VR。 。 。 Not sure where that went but too bad for those left to pick up the pieces。 This could have been a great book had Stassi told the story, apologized and moved on。 Instead she dwells and dwells and discusses it over and over relentlessly。 I kept reading because I kept thinking - this is going to get better。 Maybe pictures would have been a great value-add…too bad there’s just a sense of dread and dull light from a gal who used to lead the pack。 。。。more

This book was HILARIOUS。。。。 Was it the best book I’ve ever read? No。 Was it fun as hell to read? YES! I love a comeback story and Stassi has managed to accomplish it。 I also thought that the work she is constantly putting in to be a better person for herself and for her daughter was amazing。 It is freaking hard to admit that you are wrong, and she does。。。 over and over again。 I honestly just love her, but I was personally offended why she doesn’t like her pinot grigio line。。 I say it all the tim This book was HILARIOUS。。。。 Was it the best book I’ve ever read? I love that this, like the first book, was in Stasis’s voice。 I just think it wasn’t for me。

Julia Grace

It was cute。 I feel like you’d only appreciate it if you are a VPR gal。

Not my usual read but Bravo is my guilty pleasure and I came across this randomly。 The most interesting part of the book for me was hearing her perspective of her “cancelling” and how she dealt with it personally and professionally。 Would not recommend unless you are a Vanderpump Rules fan。

Listening to this on audiobook with Stassi reading it, I got a real sense that Stassi took a series of very humbling & devastating events, turned inward on how she needed to take accountability and grow, and channeled it into resilience to be the best role model for daughter Hartford。 She maintains her authenticity - the thing I love most about her - while showing real growth, humility, and confidence she's rebuilding。 STASSI is just plain lovable。 Yes she got “cancelled” but she has redeemed he Listening to this on audiobook with Stassi reading it, I got a real sense that Stassi took a series of very humbling & devastating events, turned inward on how she needed to take accountability and grow, and channeled it into resilience to be the best role model for daughter Hartford。 She maintains her authenticity - the thing I love most about her - while showing real growth, humility, and confidence she's rebuilding。 STASSI is just plain lovable。 Yes she got “cancelled” but she has redeemed herself and more。 She did it with finesse。 This was a delight and I am smiling just thinking about it。 She owns her mistakes and also talks about everything we understand as human beings。 Even though I am a "senior citizen" and probably not the target audience, I still loved this, love STASSI and her realness。 VANDERPUMP is NOT as good without her! 。。。more

Went into this unaware of her being canceled—I appreciate the work she’s done and the perspective she adds。 This is definitely related more towards her having a child。

I loved this!!

Overall, this was a good read。 I love any and everything Bravo related so I was very excited to read this but no lie, it was very boring at parts。 I loved reading about Stassi overcome her cancellation, her wedding, and motherhood。 But she easily could’ve taken out a few chapters that were pointless to the book。 3。75 ⭐️

Do I think Stassi’s learned from her mistake? I’m not sure。 However, I will say that I enjoyed listening to this audiobook。 Hearing Stassi read this book was like listening to an extended episode of her podcast。 Read this book if: - you’re a Vanderpump Rules fan and loved (or loved to hate) when Stassi was on it - you read and liked Next Level Basic

OFF WITH MY HEAD is the former Vanderpump star follow-up memoir dealing with the 2020 fallout heard around the Bravo universe。 With her signature candidness and wit, Stassi Schroeder explains it from her perspective。What I liked about this book is the author owned up to what she did。 There wasn’t anything to cover up the incident。 In fact, she took steps to become more aware of the issues of race and privilege so that she could be more informed in the future。 To be honest, I didn’t have many exp OFF WITH MY HEAD is the former Vanderpump star follow-up memoir dealing with the 2020 fallout heard around the Bravo universe。 With her signature candidness and wit, Stassi Schroeder explains it from her perspective。What I liked about this book is the author owned up to what she did。 There wasn’t anything to cover up the incident。 In fact, she took steps to become more aware of the issues of race and privilege so that she could be more informed in the future。 To be honest, I didn’t have many expectations going into this book。 I wanted to hear her side of the story and see how she brought herself around from the scandal and cancelation。 And the book did just that。 OFF WITH MY HEAD also gives fans of Stassi a little more about her life, her home, and her journey to motherhood。 It was a solid memoir from a reality star。 And yes…I still like her Basic B*tchness in all its glory。 Reviewer Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review。Highly Caffeinated Rating of… ☕ ☕ ☕ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦Follow the Art, Books, & Coffee: Website | Facebook Group | Instagram✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ 。。。more

I was disappointed with Stassi’s first book but I also bought the hardcover which I feel like is a no-no when it comes to celebrity’s books。 Her books are definitely more enjoyable as audiobooks。 This was more entertaining than the last but I still hate how politically correct she pretends to be。 She lost me in chapter 11 when she somehow felt the need to defend her reasons for having a GENDER REVEAL as though gender reveals are now offensive to your unborn child。 Pretty crazy that her first boo I was disappointed with Stassi’s first book but I also bought the hardcover which I feel like is a no-no when it comes to celebrity’s books。 Her books are definitely more enjoyable as audiobooks。 This was more entertaining than the last but I still hate how politically correct she pretends to be。 She lost me in chapter 11 when she somehow felt the need to defend her reasons for having a GENDER REVEAL as though gender reveals are now offensive to your unborn child。 Pretty crazy that her first book was modeled after the idea of “always be yourself AND unapologetically” and now years later and a new book, each chapter seemed like she was tiptoeing around and making sure every statement was followed up with an apology or explanation。 Didn’t love that。 I did like getting to hear all the behind the scenes of what happened in 2020 regarding her cancellation, her wedding planning, her pregnancy etc。 because I’m a big fan。 It did seem like she was trying too hard to be funny and too hard not to piss anyone off in fear of making waves which is NOT typical Stassi。 。。。more

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did。 I picked it up because the premise sounded interesting: your average reality star getting cancelled while finding out she’s pregnant? Oh and, also, a pandemic is happening。 Sounds like a good post-Christmas, pre-New Year’s Eve read to me。 Plus, I wanted to see how (or even if) someone could actually grow through being called out for racism。 Stassi’s sentiments were surprisingly touching; she’s not the caricature a lot of people want her to be。 I did not expect to like this book as much as I did。 I picked it up because the premise sounded interesting: your average reality star getting cancelled while finding out she’s pregnant? I read her first book it was funny and well written。 I bought this one curious to know what happened to her。 Honestly it was not as funny, not as well written。 It’s like the editors didn’t read it, it was repetitive and not enjoyable。I really wanted to like it but it was a slog to get through and seemed to be missing her usual wit。Perhaps trying to coast on the coat tails of her first books success。
